Payment Plans Canning Vale

Dental treatment is sometimes an unplanned expense. Payment plans are one way some patients choose to spread the cost of treatment over time rather than paying the full amount at once.

Whether a payment plan is appropriate depends on your circumstances, the treatment recommended and the eligibility criteria of the provider. Our team can explain the options available and provide a written treatment plan and itemised quote so you can consider them before deciding.

How Payment Plans Work

Payment plans at Dentists @ Canning Vale are provided by independent third party finance providers, not by the practice. You apply directly with the provider, and if approved, the provider pays the practice while you repay them under the terms of your agreement.

Approval, fees, interest and repayment terms are set by the provider and are subject to their eligibility criteria. We are not financial advisors and do not provide credit. We recommend reading the provider’s terms carefully, and seeking independent financial advice if you are unsure.

Payment Plan Providers We Work With

National Dental Plan

A dental specific payment plan provider offering interest free terms for eligible patients, subject to approval and provider conditions. More about National Dental Plan

Fund My Dental

Offers interest free plans for smaller treatment amounts, with an online application process. Eligibility, limits and repayment terms are set by the provider. fundmydental.com.au

TLC

Total Lifestyle Credit provides finance for larger or staged treatment plans, subject to application and approval. tlc.com.au

Afterpay

Allows eligible patients to pay in instalments, subject to Afterpay’s account limits and terms. afterpay.com

Early Release of Superannuation

In limited circumstances, you may be able to apply to the Australian Taxation Office for early release of superannuation on compassionate grounds to help pay for essential dental treatment. SuperCare assists patients with these applications.

Approval is at the discretion of the ATO and eligibility criteria apply. Applications are assessed individually and approval is not guaranteed.

Health Funds and HICAPS

If you hold private health cover, your fund may contribute towards the cost of treatment. We have HICAPS available for on the spot claiming, so any rebate is applied at the time of your appointment and you pay only the remaining gap.

Rebates vary depending on your fund, policy, waiting periods and annual limits. Please contact your health fund directly to confirm your entitlements before treatment. You can also see the health funds we work with, including those where we are a preferred provider.

Before You Choose a Payment Plan

Payment plans are a financial product provided by a third party. Before proceeding, it is worth considering the total amount repayable including any fees or interest, the repayment amount and frequency, what happens if a repayment is missed, and whether the plan suits your circumstances.

We will always provide a written treatment plan and itemised quote before treatment begins, so you can compare your options without pressure. See our Informed Financial Consent page for how we approach costs and consent.
